We maintain the ratio of adults to children set through the Welfare Requirements. We also have volunteer parent helpers and students where possible to complement these ratios. This helps us to give time and attention to each child; talk with the children about their interests and activities; help children to experience and benefit from the activities we provide; and allow the children to explore and be adventurous in safety.
We encourage parents and carers to join us in preschool and welcome any voluntary help . If you would like to help at a particular session please speak to the Manager or Supervisor. Helping at a session enables you to see what day-to-day life is like at preschool and by joining in you will help the children get the best out of their activities. Becoming a Director
Each year a letter is issued to all parents inviting them to join the team of Directors. We are looking for parents who have time to commit to duties required of the Directors. This could be in the form of Marketing, Administration, Accounting, HR issues and much more. If you have time and experience to commit and can attend regular meetings to discuss the progress of the pre-schools please apply to the Manager.
